FRONT PAGE PHOTOGRAPHY DAY IN THE LIFE SESSION BRONX-NYC
This NYC family of three opted for a full DAY-IN-THE-LIFE session. The day started quiet with the sun not quite up at our 6:00am start time. Little Royce hadn't woken up just yet which meant mom Alie and dad TR had some extra zzzzz time, so I hung out with Sully the cat for a while. Morning time was so pleasant. Royce enjoyed peering out the window, one of his favorite pastimes; TR put together Royce's new indoor basketball hoop & attached slide (whaaa?! so cool, right?!) Once Royce started putting his jacket and shoes on over his PJs, it was clear he was ready to make moves. We headed out to Playland in Rye, which is where Tom Hanks visited the fortune telling machine in the 1988 movie BIG, and it is also home to a a great children's museum that we explored. After some fun time there, we did some grocery shopping, one of my favorite places to do family photojournalism; there's so many bright colors and lights! Once back home the extended family joined Alie, TR, and Royce for dinner. Royce loves his cousin and the two of them played and giggled nearly the whole time they were together. With bedtime on the horizon, TR gave Royce his bath and Royce said his customary goodnight to the elephant (a framed image on the hallway wall). Alie tucked Royce in and he started to drift off. Exhausted and smiling, Alie and TR retired to the couch and I got my last shot for the conclusion of their DAY-IN-THE-LIFE session.
